Help Support Thoughtful Christianity- Help Support the EPS

It's no secret the Christian worldview is under attack, and this is no more prevalent than in the University. According to a recent study by the Barna group, over 61% of post-college age Americans who had been churched at one point in their teen years are now spiritually disengaged. i

The Evangelical Philosophical Society exists to help stem this tide, bringing thoughtful Christianity back to the academy. With leading evangelical scholars such as William Lane Craig, J.P. Moreland, Gary Habermas, Paul Copan and many others, the EPS is making a significant impact in the battle of ideas. Our journal, Philosophia Christi, is one of the leading journals of philosophy of religion in the world - and it is read and cited by some of the world's most prominent non-Christian philosophers.

Helping others defend the faith

"Good philosophy must exist, if for no other reason, because bad philosophy needs to be answered"

- C.S. Lewis

Beyond our academic efforts, the EPS is also seeking to build up the church with its annual Apologetics conference each year. This wide-scale outreach event has seen thousands of people become equipped to intelligently defend their faith against the objections of atheists, skeptics, and others. We see great fruit in these efforts, and we're hoping to do more - but we need your help.

C.S. Lewis once wrote:

"To be ignorant and simple now - not to be able to meet the enemies on their own ground - would be to throw down our weapons, and to betray our uneducated brethren who have, under God, no defence but us against the intellectual attacks of the heathen. Good philosophy must exist, if for no other reason, because bad philosophy needs to be answered."ii

This is why the EPS exists - to be engaged in the marketplace of ideas for the cause of Christ. Please help support the efforts of the EPS by giving a tax-deductible gift online. It is only through the support of people like you that we may continue to expand our efforts - touching even more people with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
